Steel blooms are semi-finished products with a square or rectangular cross-section, typically produced via continuous casting or rolling of ingots. With a cross-sectional area greater than 36 in², blooms serve as the primary feedstock for structural shapes, rails, seamless pipes, and heavy-duty forgings.
